A Movie, Beginning to End

A Movie, Beginning to End

  • A film writer thinks up a idea for a movie or takes an existing idea what has already been thought up.
  • The writer then would write up the idea into a script.
  • The script is then purchased by most commonly a Film Studio to be made.
  • People are hired to take part in the production of the film, a director would be found, the crew who will film it, makeup clothing, setting and a Cast will be found by searching for people who are fit for the role of the character.
  • The film is then made and the finished product will be sent to the Film studio that bought the film early on.
  • The film is then sent to distribution companies to distribute the film to the world and gather hype for it.
  • While advertisements for the film are being made the film is sent to prospective buyers who are the head of Cinema firms.
  • The Cinemas and Distribution companies decide on a price for the film to lease it for viewing in their cinema firms.
  • The film is then sent off to the firms once everything has been negotiated.
  • The cinema shows the movie for a specific number of weeks, this will be in the agreement for lease.
  • People buy tickets to see the movie; the cinemas make their profit.
  • At the end of the movies run at the cinema, the cinema firm sends the movie back to the distribution company.
  • After the movies cinema run, it is then brought onto DVD.
